Went through a bad patch which affected my health (dizziness, high blood pressure), mostly caused by stress, though am glad to say things are pretty much back together now :) A lot of my outlook on life has changed in the past few months, for the better. I'm feeling quite proud about the way business is headed recently :)

Oh.. and I'm going on holiday..yes..AGAIN! Seems every journal I post has something about a holiday hehehe =P Going down to PE again (yes, 3rd time this year), then have yet another break planned for new years! Don't get too jealous of me, these are all quite short breaks really....erm...or I could use the "business trip" excuse *cough*

Firstly, just so everybody knows, ABSA suck balls! A Nigerian customer tried to buy a laptop with a fraudulent cheque and ABSA completely let him screw me over, despite me warning them and crime stop in advance. The police advised they never catch these people and opening a case would be a waste of energy! I still love ZA, but wtf!? Some things are...*restrains self before someone is killed and the crime rate in Jozi is escalated*

:bulletgreen: Pimping!!!

Who are you?
. Are we friends?
. When and how did we meet?
. Would you kiss me?
. Give me a nickname and explain why?
. Describe me in one word!
. What was your first impression of me?
. Do you still think the same?
. What reminds you of me?
. If you could give me anything what would it be?
. How well do you know me?
. Are you going to put this on your journal and see what I say about you?
. Would you ever meet up with me?

Okay, so apart from a few minor repairs to go on the one car, and the other car making some weird noises, they're both... on the road.. over R11,000 later spent within 7 weeks!! Things are going well, and work has picked up fantastically, so overall I'm actually happy and not stressed out of my brackets as I was in December/Jan. Insurance made some blunder-ups, but I must say I scored when I bought a 2nd hand HP 9110 for R1000, got hit by lightning, and insurance paid out the full R6500 retail price o.O SCORE!! :D And another score... buying broken laptops for spares has paid off, got one for R350 with a broken motherboard, and another for free with a smashed screen...identical models! R300 labour later and I've got a centrino 1.73GHz 1GB RAM 60GB HDD DVDRW laptop! SCORE!!

I'm going on holiday to the coast this weekend! YAY!! I really needed this..especially after things have been so rough recently.. can't wait! :D

Cars & phones - terrible luck!!

Still had some bad luck with a few things. My one laptop (that I'm still paying off) and one of my desktops that got fried by a surge.. insurance won't cover them coz they say I can claim from the municipality - no such luck! We've since cancelled with Auto & General after our 5th refused claim in a row (including the flooding). On new years day I landed up sitting with 2 broken down cars - still saving up for the one, the other's alternator packed up :/ Thankfully I have friends that care, got driven around and taken out for parties and movies while I was car-less :)

So I get that car fixed, then get my Ford back, which broke down ON THE WAY back from the mechanic - been sitting so long that oil clogged the pickup - engine ran dry. After a week of more expensive repairs, I get the car back on a Friday, so excited that I went out and got a new sound system, then reinstalled it myself coz they wanted R750 to rewire my car (thieves did damage to all the wiring when stealing my last system). Then 4 days later the cambelt snapped!! And now the other car is giving hassles too...I'll have spent over R10k in car repairs in one month!!!

On the bright side..
In general work has actually been going great this year so far! I've had tons of hardware sales and websites to design :D So yeah, things are coming right...and I finally got the phone I wanted, P990i (the nokia E90 is STILL awaiting spares for repairs), and I'm back on track with financials mostly, except for saving up for my car..again :p Hope to have both cars sorted in the next week or two.

On the down-side it does look like I'm single again, though I can blame most of it on all that's happened in the past month.. she and I have both been through really stressful times recently. It's probably better this way for now anyway until my life is completely on track again...
